I'm originally from Canada and have lived and worked as an Electrical Engineer in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1997. Living in the southwest desert has been a unique and rich visual experience. The quality of light here is beyond description and the desert's plants, rocks, sand, water and sky provide interesting forms, textures and landscapes.

Photomontages are something I have worked with off and on for a number of years. I try to produce works that truly document my surroundings in great detail. Advances in computer graphics applications have made it possible to arrange and produce these in digital format.

Most of my work is black and white. I moved to monochrome primarily because it gives me a greater sense of control over print quality and to prevent the frustration that red-green colorblindness provides.
